Wisconsin Voices is hiring a Voter Registration – Quality Control Associate. Candidate will work remotely and must be a highly motivated, detail-oriented person to join our team to administer VoteMovr & the Wisconsin Voter App, the database that we use to track voter registrations & the app we use to complete voter registration in Wisconsin. The primary roles of this position are a) to help administer the Votemovr database and manage the quality control process which includes tracking and verifying voter registration data, and b) supporting the manager in a smooth interaction of the Wisconsin Voter App and reporting tools. Salary and Benefits: $40,000-48,000 annually along with a benefits package including medical, vision, dental, 401(k), and more. The position starts July 2020 and goes through November 30, 2020. A Better Wisconsin Together is hiring a Research and Comms Associate. This is an exciting position where you will be at the heart of testing and implementing cutting edge program strategy to advance progressive values. Along with rapid response and earned media, ABWT will engage Wisconsinites on issues using paid digital, television and radio communications. This is an associate level position based in Madison, Wisconsin, but may require some travel, as well as evening and weekend hours, as needed. Wisdom is Hiring
We are looking for a creative and nimble Digital Strategist to run digital campaigns and produce digital content to motivate, engage and grow digital audiences across a set of aligned movement organizations under the WISDOM and WISDOM Action Network banners. The position will include assisting with the creation of digital assets for the WISDOM Network. Required skills include: ability to quickly translate communications strategies and objectives into digital assets, tools and resources; good writing skills, with an eye for design; ability to quickly produce clean, persuasive copy and social media graphics; ability to work with a coalitional team to build cross-racial solidarity and engage voters in Wisconsin. This position will report to the State Integrated Voter Engagement Coordinator. This is a full-time, limited term role that can be done remotely from anywhere in the United States. However, regardless of location, the candidate should expect to work a regular schedule of 9am-6pm Central Time. Occasional work on nights and weekends will be required. This position will certainly be for the remainder of 2020. The results of the work, and availability of funding will determine whether or not the position will exist in 2021. Benefits: compensation for this role includes a salary starting at $40-45,000/year, health and dental insurance, sick leave, vacation, and opportunities for training. WISPIRG is hiring a Public Interest Advocate and Public Interest Fellow. Public Interest Advocate (3 to 5 years of experience required; Madison, WI). The Public Interest Advocate will be responsible for helping to determine which issues to prioritize in Wisconsin, and developing the strategy, approach and local message to win our issue campaigns. You’ll meet with local, state and federal decision-makers and opinion leaders, and represent our organization to allies and the media. You’ll also help build and foster our grassroots and online base of support. Finally, you’ll help recruit staff and volunteers to join us, fundraise for our programs, and maintain good systems for tracking and building on our work. Public Interest Fellow (entry-level; Madison, WI). The Fellowship is a one-year program, expressly designed to prepare future leaders with U.S. PIRG. As a Fellow, you won’t just sit behind a desk. You’ll be out in the real world, working to protect consumers and enable citizens to lead healthier, safer, more secure lives. You’ll be recruiting new groups to join a coalition, speaking in a church basement or town hall to win a new endorsement, organizing a news event or rally, meeting with an editorial board, or doing whatever else it takes to get results. You’ll run a grassroots campaign office each summer during your fellowship where you’ll hire and manage a staff of 20 canvassers to raise money, build our organization and membership, and help win one of our key campaigns. EXPO is Hiring! EXPO seeks to hire a Data Fellow whose primary goal is to streamline the collection and organization of data and organizational documentation in collaboration with organizers and researchers. The ideal candidate will be digitally literate, highly motivated, able to work remotely and stay on task, interested in data or research, willing to take direction, and able to work as a team player. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. Regional (Tribal) Organizer, As a regional tribal organizer, you will be assigned to at least two reservations or tribal communities in Wisconsin. Locations may include Oneida, Menominee, Milwaukee, Red Cliff, Bad River, Lac du Flambeau, Potawatomi, and Lac Courte Oreilles. This is a Part-Time position (15-20 hrs/wkly), mid-to-late June ~ Nov. 13, Salary: $18/hour; technology stipend and paid time off.
